The Kids First team departs for San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in 2 weeks!  We are looking forward to clinic evaluation day on Sunday, May 20, at 8:00 — and pass our Great Thanks to the volunteers, hospital staff, DIF staff, the Presidencia, and others who make the day possible!

Our KF team is back stateside and hopefully catching up on some well deserved rest after our rewarding yet exhausting week.

Sorry for the lack of updates this year via our blog! The combination of spotty internet + trying to conserve bandwidth + late nights = lack of blogging. That being said, here’s an update as to how the rest of the week has gone!

Hola from los Estados Unidos! Well, that’s a wrap on another incredible KF trip to San Miguel. For those of you with family members, friends, or coworkers who were on the trip.

Greetings from El Hospital General here in the lovely SMA.  Today’s post will feature (drum roll please) a GUEST BLOGGER!!! 

Today, we are roughly half way through a very busy, but exceptionally smooth week.  The days have been long, but the team has worked so well together.

uenos Tardes friends! The day is well underway here in El Hospital General. Hump days are always days to push through. We’re three days in and if our feet swell anymore, Jan and Janine are going to have to fashion us all special shoes.

Buenos Dias Friends and Family! It’s a great day to have a great day! Surgery day 2 is a go! Yesterday afternoon/last night ended around 9:30. We burn the midnight oil here at Kids First.
